San Francisco Bay Area based saxophonist Barry Galbreath Flores is an active chamber musician and concert saxophonist. Having performed across the United States and Germany, Barry has gotten the opportunity to study in various workshops and masterclasses with world class ensembles including the Catalyst Quartet, the MANA Quartet, and the Rascher Saxophone Quartet. Additionally, Barry has won many chamber music prizes and accomplishments during his time with the award-winning ECHO Saxophone Quartet including first prize at the Charleston International Chamber Competition and the Kings Peak International Music Competition. Thanks to his accomplishments, Barry was invited to perform at the US Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium. Barry is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in saxophone performance at San Jose State University under the direction of Dr. Michael Hernandez.
